So CLEARLY you guys got out and voted because Mr. Barack OBAMA is now our 44th President and the first African-American President!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is soooo unbelievable! I think it will definitely take a few days or weeks for this to fully sink in! But it's true. I don't know what the heck the state of Georgia was thinking because Barack did not win in our state, but that is neither here nor there....I will NOT be bitter!!! But I just want to take a moment to THANK all of the young people for getting out there and letting their voices be heard. This election was and is hisorical, but it is especially historic for our age demographic. Young people have never gotten out and voted like this before and it makes me so PROUD. We DO have a voice, we DO have an opinion, and we DO care. OMAMA, YA'LL!!!!!

R.I.P: OBAMA's GRANDMOTHER PASSES HOURS BEFORE ELECTION

In some devastating news, Barack Obama's grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, has passed after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was 86 years old.
In a statement made by Obama and his sister they say: "She was the cornerstone of our family, and a woman of extraordinary accomplishment, strength, and humility," their statement said.
"She was the person who encouraged and allowed us to take chances. She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and left this world with the knowledge that her impact on all of us was meaningful and enduring. Our debt to her is beyond measure."
Obama and his family ask that any donations be made to organizations searching for a cure for cancer.
