One more sneaker post for the evening. This is a Preview of the upcoming Nike x Michael Lau 1World Air Force 1. It's a quilted, more FAB version of the white/white forces. Interesting TID BIT: Michael Lau looked to a psychiatric ward for inspiration for this pair of Air Force 1’s, hence the shoe being dubbed the “Air Crazy Force 1″. I know you can't wait for these...I know, I know.

STEP Ya Game Up...Literally.

Say Hello to the Kevin Hunter x Nike Air Force 1. Modeled after the interior and exterior of Kevin Hunter's BENTLEY, these kicks are definitely ONE of a KIND. The shoe consists of a red upper complimented by a gum sole and midsole. Yellow lining is also included along with the Bentley emblem at the heel. GET THIS THOUGH!!!: The box that houses the sneakers was designed to match the WOOD GRAIN on the INSIDE of the Bentley. This collaboration was spearheaded by Nike’s Innovation Kitchen. Cop em if ya can!

You Might Think Me Queer, But THIS Is What's In MY EAR!!

I like to keep you guys posted on things that keep my life moving...MUSIC definitely has a huge influence on my life and I think for all of us sometimes that ONE song can just GET US THROUGH! We all have different soundtracks of our lives, and as we change, so does the track listing. Currently, there are a few artists that I have on current rotation in my iPOD and I'm pretty sure they will have permanent spots. My SOUNDS OF THE MOMENT ARE: THE MATCHES, MGMT, BOYS LIKE GIRLS, && THE COOL KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't even begin to tell you how much I am loving these particular artists right now! THE MATCHES is a Oakland, CA formed group group who have made a definite impact on the Cali music scene with a unique punk/alternative sound that is akwardly infectious! Gotta love em. MGMT is a Brooklyn, NY based duo. Their electronic-rock tunes each have some element from a different genre in them, making their style hard to put a finger on. No wonder Rolling Stone named them as one of their Top 10 "Artists To Watch" in 2008. BOYS LIKE GIRLS is a Boston-based group whose radio-friendly pop rock sound has made a major BANG recently. Listing influences as Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Story of the Year, Relient K, The Academy Is..., Kelena, and Dashboard Confessional, the four-piece group has created their own sound by adding a new style of vocals. And now for the COOL KIDS! This crazy insane hip-hop duo hailing from Detroit and Chicago have brought something completely NEW && FRESH to the table and I for one am STARVING!! They started off with the intention of just making beats for some of the top artists, but soon realized their own vocals fit best over the music. Now able to say they have worked with artists such as Lil Wayne (track called "Gettin It"), the crazy, COOL KIDS are well on their way.
Seriously, please check out ALL of these AMAZING groups! They are definitely worth a listen!

Sumthin for the FELLAS

Because I LOVE Fashion, especially in the fall...and because I LOVE my FELLAS (well some of them) I figured I'd give you some of my fave pieces from different men's collections for the fall. I don't really date guys that wear the everyday look, so some of this stuff might not be for everyone. But it's for me and that's all that matters. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVED pretty much every piece in Ralph Lauren Purple Lable's Fall 2008 Collection...they will NOT however be featured today. I'm just REALLY loving a few key brands for men this season: Creative Recreation and Supra are REALLY KILLING the Sneaker game this season. Apparently, their designers are NOT PLAYING!, Sneaktip is effin up everyone's t-shirt game on a SERIOUS level, Crooks & Castles is bringing something so funky and so fresh for my fellas this season that I almost CAN'T STAND IT!!!! (they've even teamed up with Sneaktip for a few tees featured in the Sneakertip vs Crooks collection), and of course those crazy people from Billionaire Boys Club are keepin it funky with their line as well.
